Windows 7

Windows is ready to make its leap to the next generation after its days with Vista. Windows is currently finishing up the operating system, simply titled “Windows 7” and expect it to be in stores next year sometime. With so many people complaining of Vista, and all of its problems, the Microsoft world is ready to move forward and get out of its “Dark Age.”
For those who are not aware, Windows Vista is the current operating software on Microsoft machines. It was created as a step above its predecessor, Windows XP. Unfortunately, it seems as though those hopes did not come true. When it was introduced, it already had its complaints going. These included: security was too low, annoyances with constant questioning of actions, and a much more different organization setup as compared to XP.
Now, Windows is working on its Beta version of 7, and addresses all of these problems when asked. They plan on making the security issue a thing of the past, as they step up the level of security within the operating system. The virus problems will be a thing of the past on this new operating system.
It seems like Windows has learned a lot from the Vista problems, so they are making sure they don’t get sucked into those problems again. They have learned what went wrong, and how to fix it.
Windows 7 seems to have quite the following in the computer world. After unveiling some of its features at the PDC2008 presentation, users and developers alike were quite excited about the prospect of Windows 7’s new features. From its user friendliness to its reliability and security, it seems like Vista is about to become a thing of the past. The world is ready for a change, and Windows is more than happy to be the ones doing the changing.

Wow, it’s hardly been two years since windows switched to vista and now they are ready for another one! Like you mentioned vista does have problems and it is a lot different than xp. I started with an xp and now I use a vista and I did get annoyed with the new layout and programs.
One thing that wasn't too clear in the entry was if Windows 7 is a modification of vista or if it is totally a new (I would hate learning all the layouts and system again!!!).
I would appreciate if you could do a follow up entry in the near future with the clarification!
Thanks for shedding some light on this new advancement!
